PHILADELPHIA (AP)—Right-hander Kyle Kendrick and the Philadelphia Phillies avoided salary arbitration when they agreed Friday to a one-year contract worth $3,585,000. KK is back for one more year, or well he is still under arbitration control for two years after this year. Unless he regresses big time he will be around for those seasons.
